Floor Safes offer a unique method of keeping valuables hidden and secured. By installing a floor safe into the floor, you reduce the likelihood of the safe ever being discovered. Floor safes sit flush with their surroundings, allowing rugs or other objects to be placed on them for further concealment.
Sure Safes offers the innovative Barska Floor Safe for those interested in an alternative method of keeping valuables safe and hidden. This in-ground safe sits flush with its surroundings, allowing items such as rugs, desks, or other furniture items to be placed on top of it for further concealment. This top opening floor safe anchors to the ground with four steel bolts that can only be accessed from the inside, ensuring that the safe cannot be pried up from its position in the ground. The solid steel construction and anti-prying safe door ensures that only authorized users who have the correct key can access the valuable contents within the safe.
The Barska Floor Safe from Sure Safes differs from traditional safes in that it has been designed to be hidden in an unconventional place: the floor. Installing this safe into the floor and covering it with furniture virtually eliminates the possibility of the safes presence being discovered. Keeping the safe hidden reduces the overall chance of someone trying to gain unauthorized access to the safe, which provides further protection for the valuables inside. Should someone discover the safe and attempt to break in, two solid-steel locking deadbolts and an anti-pry safe door ensure that unauthorized access is simply not possible. Much like traditional safes, this floor safe can be anchored to the ground to prevent someone from simply walking off with it.
Each component of the Barska Floor Safe has been designed using steel to deliver maximum protection for your valuables. The body of the floor safe is constructed from 3mm thick steel plates that prevent tampering, and the safe's door is locked tight with two solid steel locking deadbolts. Steel mounting screws are included with this safe that are used to anchor the safe into position in order to prevent the safe from being removed. These steel mounting screws are inserted using the four pre-drilled mounting holes located on each end of the floor safe.
The Barska Floor Safe from Sure Safes offers 380 cubic inches of storage space and comes with a protective floor mat to prevent scratching to the valuables inside. The interior of the floor safe is spacious enough to store multiple items, such as passports, money, jewelry, small electronics, and important documents. The compact dimensions of the floor safe also allows it to be stored in discrete locations to keep it hidden and out of sight. This floor safe can be easily concealed underneath a rug, desk, cabinet, or many other types of common office and household items.
With the ability to be easily concealed in a compact area, it's easy to see how the Barska Floor Safe can be useful for a variety of storage situations. Some of the more common storage situations may include:
There are two main methods in which a floor safe can be securely installed, both of which will keep the safe anchored down without the possibility of unauthorized removal. The first method involved mounting the floor safe between two wooden floor joist. once the studs are located, a hole can be cut into the floor and the safe mounted between two joists and secured into place with the included mounting screws. To mount the floor safe into a concrete foundation, a hole for the safe must first be excavated with enough room around the safe to fill in with new concrete. Once the safe is in place with the anchoring bolts protruding, new concrete can be poured into the gab between the safe and the old foundation. Once the new concrete sets, the floor safe will be secured in its place.
